Student’s Human Ecology Association

About Us

The Student Human Ecology Association (SHEA) is Food and Nutrition and Family Studies Students’ Council. Our mission is to connect, represent, and empower all students within these programs. We are committed to creating spaces that foster connection, personal growth, and professional development. We aim to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to thrive.

While we now operate under Western University, we continue to honour and maintain strong ties to our former home, Brescia University College, recognizing its legacy and lasting impact on our Nutrition and Families Studies community. We are also proud to represent and stay connected with professional organizations such as the Ontario Home Economics Association (OHEA) and Dietitians of Canada (DC).
