Dream Team

About Us

Dream Team is the official charity of the Faculty of Health Sciences Students’ Council (FHSSC) at Western University. We are a student-led group dedicated to raising funds for Make-A-Wish® Canada, helping grant life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses.

Since 2018, Dream Team has raised nearly $70,000 through events that unite the Faculty of Health Sciences community around this meaningful cause. Every dollar raised helps Make-A-Wish® Canada provide hope, strength, and joy to children facing serious health challenges.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Make-A-Wish® Canada has granted over 40,000 wishes across the country, and with your help, we can continue making more of these wishes a reality.

Our Events

Throughout the year, Dream Team organizes a variety of fundraisers and events that bring students together to support Make-A-Wish® Canada. These events not only raise funds but also create opportunities for connection, fun, and awareness within the Faculty of Health Sciences community. What Does Dream Team Do?

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser

A fun and delicious way to support the Dream Team – it comes once every year, so don’t worry if you missed it the first time. Be sure to grab the opportunity to get this sugary bread!
Go Blue Week

Held every March, Go Blue Week is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It features a variety of fun events, including Pie-a-Prof, where students can donate for the chance to toss a pie at participating professors and faculty leaders, as well as the ever-popular Krispy Kreme Fundraiser!
Bar Nights

Social fundraisers hosted at local venues to bring students together for a fun night out while supporting Dream Team.
Dream Team x WRC x FHSSC 5K Run & Walk

A collaborative event with the Faculty of Health Sciences Students’ Council (FHSSC) and Western Rehab Club (WRC). Participants enjoyed custom t-shirts, prizes, and a raffle, while a wish child inspired the crowd by sharing their story.
Trees of Joy

Trees of Joy is a holiday initiative hosted by Make-A-Wish® Canada that creates personalized holiday trees to brighten the season for children and their families. Last year, Dream Team was invited to decorate a tree for Ayla, helping bring her festive dreams to life.
Exercise and Physical Activity Classes

Dream Team hosts various exercise and physical activity classes, including hot yoga, to promote wellness and raise funds for Make-A-Wish® Canada. These sessions offer a fun way to stay active while supporting a great cause.
